Congratulations to Team Guts!  A final update on the World’s Toughest Mudder and Danny and Gary’s expressions say it all!

The event really was the toughest thing they had ever done.  The temperature on the night was the lowest ever recorded in Fairburn, Atlanta and “we had never been so cold in all our lives”!  The  pictures aren’t that clear given the conditions but it’s pretty clear that the going was hard.  Danny’s towel froze solid and there were a lot of space blankets on hand.

Danny completed 20 miles and Gary 40.  They are planning to go again next year and will make sure they are better prepared for the weather.  They also have plans to compete in the European event.

Danny is currently working at Seaward’s development in Southbourne, Priors Orchard and Seaward was delighted to support Danny and Gary in their involvement with this event.  They raised nearly £3,000 for JDRF, an organisation working to improve the lives of people living with Type 1 diabetes.
