Seaward Properties is delighted to welcome our new Land & Planning Manager.
Lucy Hill has recently joined Seaward after 14 years of working in both public and private sector town planning roles, including environmental consultancy, local authority and freelancing. She is a qualified town planner, with a BA(Hons) Environmental Planning and Management degree and an MSc Spatial Planning degree during which she specialised in environmental impact assessment and environmental law.
Her earlier career (2004 to 2011) was in the private sector where she prepared and submitted major planning applications requiring environmental impact assessment for a range of clients. Since 2011, she has worked in public sector roles in development management at senior level for the South Downs National Park Authority, Wiltshire Council, West Sussex County Council, Eastleigh Borough Council and most recently was the Neighbourhood Planning Officer at Chichester District Council. Through all these roles, she has gained expertise in the UK’s town planning system and has developed good relationships with developers, parish councils and agents.
Working with the Land and Planning Director, her role at Seaward is to identify, purchase and promote land opportunities for residential and commercial development of all scales whilst also overseeing and advising on the planning process for our sites.
Lucy is a dedicated mum of two young daughters, loves family life and being outdoors.
