Seaward is very pleased to announce that a detailed planning application has been submitted for a new development in Chichester.
The ten beautiful new homes will be located in the grounds of an existing property, Maddoxwood, in Lavant Road. The new development is situated in the much sought after area of Summersdale to the north of the city. Maddoxwood is directly adjacent to Roman Fields, a previous and very successful Seaward development.
The Maddoxwood development will continue the high internal and external specification achieved at Roman Fields. The attractive elevational finishes on the properties will use flint, tile hanging and brick under plain clay tile and slate roofs. The existing house on the site will be refurbished to a high standard as part of the project.
Each home will be provided with at least two parking spaces the majority of which will be covered. The development will be attractively landscaped and each property will have a turfed rear garden and patio.
The planning application also includes a pedestrian and cycle link to the popular Centurion Way cycle and pedestrian path which crosses the original Roman road from Chichester to Silchester and offers excellent opportunities for walking, running and cycling.
It is anticipated that work will commence on this new development in the Spring of 2018.
